Things to consider

Is your water pressure adequate?

Poor water pressure can often mean that the job can take 3 times longer and sometimes even more than this. This is made worse if there are two guys with a water blaster each coming to complete the job.

Does your water require power to work?

Many holiday homes rely on power to make the water pump work. If your holiday home will not have power on the date we have scheduled the work to be completed please give instructions on accessing the power.

If we turn up to a property and are unable to complete the job because we cannot access the water due to the power we will charge travel and mileage to cover our costs.

Solar Panel Cleaning – chemical-free, streak-free maintenance for optimal performance

How do you clean solar panels?
We use a specialised, pure water-fed pole system, combined with a soft brush, to gently clean your panels. This method is chemical-free and designed to lift dirt, dust, and residue without damaging the panels or frames. The purified water removes calcium and other minerals, leaving a spotless, streak-free finish.

This is the same approach recommended by many solar panel manufacturers for safe and effective maintenance.

How often should often solar panels be cleaned?
Washing your solar panels a couple of times a year helps to ensure cost savings through better efficiency of the solar panel. For example, you could lose around 20% of your energy if you only wash your solar panels once a year, and 35% if you only wash them every two years.

The percentage can increase or decrease depending on the environmental factors that surround the roof. For example, if the building is located near a gravel road, the panels will accumulate dust buildup. If it is located near a high-traffic area, pollution from vehicles will coat the solar panels. If there are tall trees nearby, the residue from the trees can land on the solar panels and affect their efficiency.

Regular cleaning not only improves efficiency but helps protect your solar panel investment over the long term.
